Rockhampton Airport offers two different styles of meeting rooms conveniently located within the terminal precinct.
Eddie Hudson Conference Room
The Eddie Hudson Room was named in commemoration of Rockhampton born man, Edward Arthur Hudson. Eddie worked as a clerk for the Rockhampton City Council before joining the Royal Australian Air Force where he was selected to fly ‘G for George’ (a veteran Lancaster Bomber). He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for pressing home attacks at low altitudes.
This room is an open plan room and is designed for business seminars, conferences, board meetings, training sessions, product launches, and media conferences. Located at the southern end of the terminal on the ground floor this room can be set up in an array of styles including classroom, theatre or banquet and can accommodate up to 40 people. This room is also used as a makeshift customs screening and processing area for visiting international military personnel.
Special features include a data projector with wall mounted screen, large audio speakers and a microphone.
Airport Management Board Room
This room is set up as a conference room featuring a large board room table and can accommodate up to 14 people. Special features include whiteboards, wall mounted screen/television, DVD player and teleconferencing equipment.
Catering
Tea and coffee facilities are available. External caterers can be accommodated. Please do not book catering until your room booking has been confirmed.
